Xerox Transfer.

I think this gives a really nice textured effect - and will make the photos appear more 'authentic'/fit in with the style etc. Here are some examples of xerox transferring being used.

Dress Up

I did a few drawings for the characters but I feel to achieve the desired style of poster I think photos are the way to go. So I need someone to be the characters.
So I've got my poor brother to dress up as woland and koroviev.
I think through filtering and distorting it will make it less obvious that it is my brother dressed up as the same character (I hope anyway!!)

Woland - I dressed in a beret and moustache. I liked this analysis of Woland "he name Woland is very un-russian. It's a variant of the devil's name in Faust written by Johan Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1842): the knight Voland or Faland. Some see in him the "almighty" Stalin who, like Woland, had a freign of terror, as well as moments of "goodness". Because thanks to his whimsical character Bulgakov could survive as an artist.
Some see Woland as a parody on Josef Vissarionovich Stalin(1878-1953). And there are indeed similarities. Just like Stalin saved Bulgakov while he eliminated others unconditionally, Woland saves the Master while he punishes others. And Stalin was in 1899 banned from the Russian orthodox seminar of Tbilisi, just like Satan, as a fallen angel, was banned from heaven."

Sid

This is Sid (so called because he is Vicious) He isn't our cat he just visits all the time for ham and chicken. Sid is Behemoth reincarnated.

(Not really, because one that would be impossible, and two, he isn't that vicious...just greedy.)

Anyway, here are some images I could use for my posters.
